FlyHALO returned to New York to bring Michael and Susan home to Atlanta after Michael completed five treatment sessions for prostate cancer at Sloan Kettering. Along the way, FlyHALO made a stop in the Washington, D.C. area to bring Louis and Evelyn home following Louis’s own treatment at Sloan Kettering for a rare form of carcinoma. Both families shared how much easier the journey felt without the stress of commercial airports. We’re grateful to provide a little comfort and relief to families facing so much.

After receiving treatment for colon cancer at Sloan Kettering in New York, Jeff and his wife Marissa needed to get back home to Richmond, Virginia. FlyHALO was able to bring them home on the same day after completing another mission to New York, making this the second time our aircraft and pilots have flown Jeff and Marissa home. FlyHALO was able to combine these missions and make the 1,350-mile journey possible in a single day, turning what could have been a long and exhausting trip home into a much simpler one for Jeff and Marissa.

In one day, FlyHALO flew 1,960 miles to bring two patients and their loved ones home after cancer treatment in New York. Jeffrey and his wife returned to Virginia after his treatment for colon cancer at Sloan Kettering. From there, FlyHALO continued to Alabama to bring Josephine and her daughter home after her treatment for pancreatic cancer.

After undergoing surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, Joe and his wife, Maria, were ready to return home to North Carolina. We flew more than 1,000 miles to help bring them home safely, making the journey back more comfortable after a major medical procedure.

Flew to Owensboro, Kentucky, to pick up Supply Sergeant Christina, a 39-year-old military mom who had spent 15 months in Rock and completed more than 30 parachute jumps. FlyHALO transported Christina to Norfolk, Virginia, where she could receive care at the Barry Robinson Center, before returning home to Atlanta. Covering approximately 1,200 miles in just a few hours, FlyHALO and its partner organizations made this compassion flight possible—helping reunite a military mom with her daughter when it mattered most.

Michael and his wife traveled with FlyHALO to New York for his prostate cancer treatment at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The direct flight gave them a quicker, more comfortable way to reach his care while avoiding the challenges of traveling through busy public airports. For Michael and his family, being able to spend less time navigating the stress of travel meant more time and energy focused on his treatment.

After months of treatment in Nashville, Clinton needed a new approach in his fight against Stage 4 colorectal cancer. FlyHALO helped transport him to Yale University for a preoperative consultation, giving him access to the specialized care his next stage of treatment required.

Every two weeks, Josh travels from Indianapolis to Nashville for cancer treatment at the Sarah Cannon Research Institute. FlyHALO flew more than 450 miles to bring him home after treatment, reducing a several-hour drive to a flight of less than an hour so he could focus on resting and recovering.
